LIBERIA

NOPSWECO Liberia was established on September 13, 2018. Madam Diago N’Diaye, the regional President of NOPSWECO, inducted into office, the leadership of NOPSWECO setting the basis for Liberia’s inclusion into a regional network intended to support women’s involvement in peace-building.
NOPSWECO serves as one of the monitoring groups for the Liberia National Action Plan and a member organization for the Project Accountable Safe Space (PASS) Women’s Accountability Room. PASS WAR is a platform of grassroots women leaders that monitors violence against women in elections and demand accountability women in governance. NOPSWECO is also a founding member of the #weareunprotected network and the 1325 platform.
